Jupiter 2 Landing Gear

Landing Gear from the Jupiter 2 Filming Miniature from Lost in Space (CBS, 1965-1968). Single, vintage original metal landing gear piece with attached strut and wooden "foot." One of the three "legs" the Jupiter 2 spaceship would rest upon when landed. A series of five descending steps, flanked by girders and ending in one larger step attached to a foot with a narrow strut that would extend back up to the ship. Includes girder piece that would attach at the base of the ship. Measuring 15" x 9" x 3.5." Exhibiting age, production wear, bending and oxidation. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
