Model Miniature Missile and Launch Pad from City Beneath the Sea (Warner Bros. TV, 1971). Vintage original (2) miniature props including (1) missile constructed of carved wood cone and embellishments, including flight fins and grooved rings around the body, expertly studio painted in red and white with stenciled "USA" on one side, and (1) launching pad hub constructed of wood and carved rigid foam, painted in industrial gray. The miniatures were used in the scenes when missiles are deployed by Admiral Matthews (Stuart Whitman) to deflect a meteor hurtling toward earth. The missile measures 24" x 3" x 3" and the launching pad 13.25" round x 6" tall. Exhibiting age, production wear, paint loss, and some chipping. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
