Five Weeks in a Balloon Concept Art

Original Concept Art (3) of the Gondola from Five Weeks in a Balloon (Irwin Allen Productions, 1962). Vintage original concept art of the Gondola and flight crew from Five Weeks in a Balloon in tempera and gouache on artist paper measuring 28-½" x 34-½" indented to 26" x 32" and tape hinged to an archival mat measuring 32" x 38" with transparent mylar overlay. A second artwork depicts the balloon aloft and outstretched with air in tempera and gouache on 2-ply artist board measuring 37" x 27" and glue-tipped to an archival mat measuring 40" x 30" with transparent mylar overlay. A third artwork depicts the gondola interior fully stocked with supplies in tempera and gouache on artist paper measuring 12" x 15" indented to 9-¼" x 14-¼" and tape hinged to an archival mat measuring 17" x 21" with transparent mylar overlay. Actual artwork reproduced on p. 122 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Very Fine; Fine, with creases at the upper right; and Fine-, with light bleed through at the edges. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
