Lost in Space (Hanna-Barbera, 1973) Animation Presentation Artwork of Doctor Smith and Robot. Vintage original (2) animation artwork cels visible through matte and frames including (1) "Dr. Smith" and the "Robot" from Lost in Space featuring a hand-drawn illustration of the characters in action, rendered on a transparent 9" x 11.5" sheet of celluloid and (1) "Dr. Zachary Smith" character study 12" x 9.5" cel. Both are painted on the reverse side with vibrant colors and details to bring the characters to life. Dr. Smith is depicted wearing his signature jumpsuit and body language conveying his trademark sinister ego. These Hanna-Barbera cels are a carefully crafted and highly detailed pieces of animation artwork, capturing the distinctive look and feel of the classic science fiction TV series. These cels were created for a pilot for a Lost in Space animated series that wasn't picked up by ABC. Exhibits age, scuffing to the black frame and minor handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
