Space Destructors Latex Head Casting

Jonathan Harris "Cyborg Soldier" Production Latex Head Casting from Episode, "Space Destructors" from Lost in Space (CBS, 1965-1968). Vintage original flesh colored latex rubber head, with a highly detailed and accurate reproduction of the actor's facial features. The casting process involved making a mold of Harris' head, which would then be used to create a replica in latex rubber. The resulting latex rubber head casting has all of the nuances and subtleties of Harris' face, including wrinkles, creases, and pores. In the Season 3 episode "Space Destructors", Dr. Smith (Harris) creates a number of cyborg soldiers in his own image. This casting is an unfinished mask from the production. Exhibits age, some rigidness to the latex edges, and production handling. Acquired from the estate of Jonathan Harris. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
