Miniature Polidor Submarine

Miniature Polidor attack submarine from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (ABC-TV, 1964-68). Black-painted resin submarine with direction rudder, used for the special effects sequences shot underwater. Measures 32 in. long. Originally from the collection of visual effects specialist Greg Jein.

Sold for $3000 at the Profiles in History Hollywood Auction 23, 16 December 2005.
